Insight – Recettear: An Item Shop’s Tale (Demo Version)

One of the things I <3 about Steam is its extensive library of games that’s available to PC gamers and, as of recently, Macintosh gamers. Steam pretty much grew from a pretty buggy beta Valve released back in 2003, to one of the major distribution services for the PC Gaming Industry as of 2010. If you’re a PC Gamer, you must have heard about Steam one way or another. But, alas, despite the extensive library, I’ve been wanting some Japanese RPG goodness in Steam for quite a while. Sure, Square Enix released a few RPGs there, but none of them really caught my eye…until one day when a demo was released before the full game, something that’s actually pretty uncommon in the gaming industry these days.
